Awful turnover. Who was that? Ironically, those are my favorite goals..top cheddar..just a filthy shot, absolute rocket upstairs.

What a great, valliant effort by Chicago. Unbelieveable series.

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs II: Welcome to Smashville

That was a spectacularly bad turnover and Burrows had one helluva shot to score. He blasted that by Crawford so fast I expected it to go through the net!

This game was quite similar to the Gold Medal game. Tight game, in Vancouver, Luongo in nets, goalies play well, UND player ties the game in the last 2:00, home team wins it relatively quickly in OT.

Yeah, except Crawford has no shame on that one. Miller wants another crack at Crysob's goal. :(

looking at the West now, Vancouver/Nashville is kind of a dull series on the outside, and SJ/Detroit should be good. Should be a fun semifinal round!

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs II: Welcome to Smashville

With a shot like that, it's almost hard to believe that Burrows did a lot of time in the ECHL. Then you look at his career PIM, and it's very believable. :p

Two thoughts before I sign off:

How many more "goaltender interference" penalties will be called while Price takes an obvious dive.

Montreal's rink is a POS. Their boards and glass are solid, and thats why there are numerous injuries. Also helps that you have everyone trying for an Oscar on that team.

Did anyone call 9-1-1 on Lucic?

If SJ loses, am I allowed to say it was because they've played more playoff games than Detroit in the last couple seasons?
