2011 NHL Playoffs II: Welcome to Smashville

I can understand things like the handstand (liability), but not touching the glass? I'd stand there and take my finger, and poke the glass. Just to make a point. It's BS. I think it's a horrendous bit, but I also think they should be able to heckle the penalty box occupants to a point.
I'd rather the NHL ban the idiot fans that pound the glass every time the play is within ten feet of them.

Or the idiots that stand and wave when the puck goes into their end, knowing they will be noticed on camera. Effing losers.

In Gary's utopia, the NHL is like an 8 year-old's community t-ball league. Fans cheer for every goal, even goals scored by the away team. Teams shake hands after every game, even in the regular season. Then we all get ice cream cones, and everybody goes home happy. :D

At least this Power Play is actually looking like one, but still, no goal.

A blind squirrel and a nut comes to mind here. They're going to have to get lucky eventually.

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs II: Welcome to Smashville

'Bout time Detroit got on the board, at home, down 2-0 in the series.

Hopefully that late goal will lead to some momentum in the next period.

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs II: Welcome to Smashville

I don't really care much for the Bruins, but it is awesome to watch the Flyers suck so hard.

Re: 2011 NHL Playoffs II: Welcome to Smashville

Why the Flyer hate?

I don't really hate any Easter Conf. teams.

It's a combination of their fans, the way the Flyers used to play in the 70s where they used to just outphysical and fight teams that had more skill than them. Plus, Bob Clarke is a ******.
