More on Pouliot....

Jack Edwards, April 18, 2011: "Benoit Pouliot, one of the greatest disappointments of talent in NHL history".

Here's the entire clip:

Wow, ColbyWMHB in the house. Nice to see you around these parts again. I had to fend for myself with the Bruins' jackals for a year. :p ;)

Re: 2011 NHL Off-Season: The Puck Boat edition

I think Cole had a bit of a resurgence this year, but 4.5 per? I also think Washington way overpaid for Hamrlik.

4.5 isn't so bad right now considering Ryder and Upshall got 3.5 (and Joel Ward got 3). But the 4 years of the deal worry me. He'll be 33 this year (and may be already). Given his age and injury problems, how is 4.5 gonna look in 2013 or 2014? We'll see.

I also forgot how blatantly wrong Brick was on that clip, too. Surprising, as unlike Edwards, Brick is the man.

Vokoun signs with the Isles for 6.5 million over 4 years.

I'm going to vomit when Nabokov comes out in a Red Wings jersey this fall.

Re: 2011 NHL Off-Season: The Puck Boat edition

The Wild are the team that truly paid the price of him busting.

I'd argue that Pouliot paid the higher price by being drafted by the Wild, an organization that couldn't develop a Polaroid picture without screwing it up.

Good lord. Florida is an absolute train wreck. What a roster of overpaid crap.

This. Hopefully that's going to change but given the Cam Barker result (where they were out to prove that they could get something out of something that Chicago could not) I doubt it.
