2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

ALERT: It only took one base hit to score Thome, and there weren't any walks, errors, or fielder's choice plays involved.

Funny, I was at the game a couple weeks go when he got thrown out at home by 10 feet on a double.

I like what Dick brought up earlier in the broadcast. He basically said that even though Mauer being on first really helps our outfield defense, it means Butera is in the lineup. :D

We just earned a split because they have a second baseman in left field.

10 straight losses to Detroit dating back to last year.
Ugh.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

The Tigers are doing the same thing tonight.

Unless the Tiggers put the ball on a tee I wouldn't worry too much; the way the Twins are hitting Alfred E. Newman could play an effective left field for ya'll.

It kind of looks like the Twins should think about being sellers. If we can't regularly beat the Indians or beat the Tigers at all this season, we won't do jack if we got to the postseason regardless. (Not that they ever do when they win the division outright)

Of course, they won't do it. They'll win just enough to stay 5-6 games back to the end.

No, they won't. This is a Minnesota team. They'll be in contention till the end, even give us hope by taking the division lead for a few days....and blow it on the last day.

They probably should sell but they won't. The Tribe's push down the stretch is hard to gauge and history says the Tigers will choke.

The Tigers' seemed dialed in and I'd be surprised if they JBSU'ed again. :)

Twins don't choke on the last day of the season, they choke in the first round of the playoffs.

Wow what a crap start.
So who gets traded?
Sounds like Cuddyer won't be but I'm hearing rumors on Span.

Six to nothing in the 2nd. Got 'em right where we want 'em.
