2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

This isn't even average.

Considering the insane number of games missed due to injury....

Not making excuses per se - they are what they are and I'm also not saying they'd be battling the East for AL dominance, but I'd at least like their chances for being much further along than they are at present.

They may be a few games better record wise, but it wasn't like most of the guys hurt were tearing it up before they got hurt, save Kubel.
They were actually doing better with the kids in June, they've been bad since a few of these guys came back.

That's what I don't understand. How is Mauer hitting around .230?

Went to a White Sox game about a week ago, every time a Adam Dunn was up a bunch of guys would yell "Ring 'em up!" before he saw a pitch. :D

Mauer is a defensive wizard. :)

We need to play Chicago every night.

Every time I've seen him bat, he hits it to the SS. Granted, I haven't been able to watch all that often, and he's been hurt a lot, but still.

He was 3-5 with two RBI's tonight, and looked pretty good at 1B. I'll lay off him tonight. :)

Nothing cures the Twins ills like a series against Chicago. We absolutely own them (8 in a row, 27 of 33, and 30 of 41).

Good start.
Digging TK in the booth......I wonder how long until his birthday? :D

Give Blackblurn some credit, you know how hard it is to hit Dunn's bat?

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

What the hell is going on in this game? 1-0, then 5-1, now 8-5? and its the 4th!

Give him credit for bouncing back with four scoreless innings after his abysmal first. Another big win against the Sox!

Capps' break from the closer role was short lived. I think his inning yesterday was somewhat a confidence builder.

Keep goin' boys! That's another game with the Tribe loss!

I'm watching the replay right now. Is there anything better than TK as a color analyst? It is truly a joy listening to him analyze a baseball game. This man is a genius when it comes to this game.

You had to have known this prior to him being a color analyst..;)

But honestly, it is awesome to hear him talk baseball.

The two WS titles were no accident. :p

Yeah, definitely. We just don't get to hear him talk baseball like this. At this point I would watch a game I don't care about just to hear his analysis.
