2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

I still think we've turned the corner. We just need to win tomorrow, take the series and get home. Being 11.5 back is nothing for the Twins;)

Nobody in the starting lineup was hitting better than .262 coming into that game.
They haven't turned anything yet.

Another win? Crazy.

But Capps did a blow a save, so some things did stay somewhat normal. Rochester has now won 6 out 7!

I hate Capps. But, we really don't have anyone better. I have liked Dumatrait, but I don't think you turn him into a closer. That would be stupid in my opinion.

Good to see the Twins not snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, even though it seemed like they did for a bit.

Dumatrait got the save today in the 10th, but I agree, I don't think he's a closer.

The Twins are no longer the worst team in baseball! huzzah!

Twins 24-38
Astros 24-39

Now Span with a concussion from a "minor" feet first collision at home.
Can't catch a break with head injuries.

Ben Revere is an awesome fielder.

If you're not watching the game right now, I recommend changing the channel...

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

I don't like this long half inning with the Twins breaking the game open, and forcing multiple Rangers pitching changes, while Liriano just sits on the bench all alone with nothing but his thoughts on his current..ahem...situation.

edit: and sure enough, he gives up a hit to the first batter after an over 30 minute break

Twins now have a .400 win percentage.

The team we've seen the last week or so is completely different from the one that struggled through April and May.
