2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

I was very surprised to hear a stat that they talked about on the ESPN broadcast. The pitcher with the best winning % since, I think they said '08, is CC Sabathia. Number 2 on that list is Kevin Slowey. That can't possibly be true, can it?
All that means is Slowey's gotten a lot of run support.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Well, yeah that is true, but it doesn't seem like he has had that great of seasons as far as win/loss is concerned.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Obviously Duensing didn't learn ad god **** thing from Baker last night. I really hate this stupid franchise when it comes to playing anyone good.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

Apparently I can't watch the game because dish network thinks it should be blacked out. What the ****. This ****es me off. Dish is getting an angry phonecall in about 30 seconds.

Well, it is dumb again so far. We can only hope Duensing figures it out like Baker did. 3-0.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

**** Dish Network. They're in some ****ing match with FSN again so Twins games are blacked out indefinitely. I told them to cancel everything extra on my service and back me down to the cheapest package possible. If they can't give me Twins games then **** them. That's the only thing I watch in the summer.

Dish Network is turrible. Cable is better.

The FSN bull**** is the only thing i've ever had a problem with Dish network on. But this is out of hand 2 seasons in a row is completely unacceptable. I would never switch to cable though, I would go with direct tv.

Sweet Jesus the Twins just won in the Bronx. With Twitchy MacMotorboat getting the save, no less.

And a comeback win!

Did I hear correctly...his first save in the Bronx?

**** our bullpen. **** baseball. Atleast I ended up 20 rows behind home plate, about the only good thing tonight. Headed back for tomorrow night too.

Oh quit your *****ing. I really don't want to hear any of this bull**** from Yankees fans.

It would have been nice to watch the game. **** you, Dish Network.

Heh, it's all good. It's a long season and we definitely didn't do much other then the two homers early on. Props to the Twinkies for coming back and roughing Soriano up, should be a fun game tomorrow night.

What a huge win, a huge hit for Mauer, hopfully a confidence booster for him and the entire team.

First one run win since like May of 2001 against those ****ers..yay!:D

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

I was bummed when we didn't get more than one run in the tenth. It is pretty sad when you are going into the bottom of inning nine or more with a one run lead and are expecting to lose. Glad it didn't turn out that way this time around. Nathan looked MUCH better than he did on Sunday, mostly because his slider was in the same zip code as the plate this time.

I was wondering why I couldn't watch the game last night. ****ing stupid.

Re: 2011 Minnesota Twins: Yoshi, Pavario, and Big Jim's Quest for 600

It sounded to me like only some of the games were going to be blacked out on Dish, not all of them. FSN asked for more money when they paid to broadcast more games and Dish wouldn't pay while some others did. Thus the impasse.

I asked the lady at Dish how long it would be before I could watch another game and she said that she didn't know, it could be as soon as tomorrow or it could take months. I suppose she probably doesn't know what she is talking about. I still don't care that I cancelled the channels, I'll be travelling for 3 of the next 4 weeks, and with the weather getting nicer I'll be working outside instead of watching the Twins. The bottom line is, Dish Network can suck it.
