Come on, it's april fools' day. This team must have done something decent up there in the last 20 years (although about 10 of those featured terrible twins teams).

Man do they hit a lot of home runs. If only they got rid of their stupid uniforms.

They're hitting a lot of everything and everyone right now. If this keeps up, Toronto might be relevant for the first time in almost two decades.

One series does not a season make - particularly against a team that plays like **** in Toronto.

My comment was more about Toronto than the Twins. There are a few baseball people picking the Blue Jays to either make the playoffs or at least contend the entire season. That's saying a lot about their team considering their division opponents. And I know the Twins don't play well there. I think they've won about three games in Toronto in the last three seasons. The local 1500 talking heads though the Twins would return home with a 3-3 or 4-2 record. Unfortunately AM 1500 doesn't have a text number otherwise they would have received a "Whatever you guys are smoking, I want some" from me. 0-7 is my predication.

2-5 is probably their ceiling in these locales.

So, basically another year has gone by and they still can't compete in the East. It's a damm good thing this team plays in the AL Central then.

You're 3-1 on Bautista. Maybe a good time for a pitch in the dirt, eh? Walking him can be considered a victory.

Gladden said it was a pretty good pitch. Putting him on comes with its own set of issues too.

Good win for the Twins.

Looking around the league after a weekend, most of the favorites are struggling a bit. So no reason to get too concerned yet.

Unbeaten Teams as of now: Baltimore, Seattle, Texas, Philadelphia, Cincinnati.
Teams Without Wins: Boston, Tampa Bay, Oakland, Houston, Milwaukee.

Everyone else is somewhere in the middle.

So would have thought that between Pavano, Liriano, and Blackburn, Blackburn would be the one to come out of Toronto with a win?

1-2 leaving Toronto isn't a big deal. A split with the Yankees would be great, but I'm thinking they will go 1-3 in New York. Really, they just have to go about .500 during the first half, stay within about 6-7 games of Chicago/Detroit, and they'll make the second half run and win the division again. The bigger question is if they'll figure out a way to win in October this time.

It could happen. Take a look at the schedule. The Twins get the toughest games out of the way pretty early. Pretty much get all of the AL East games out of the way in the first couple months. September is an effing cakewalk, for the most part.
