Fan voting for the MLB All-Star game is the biggest joke in professional sports. Players and coaches should be the only ones allowed to vote because, clearly, the fans are too stupid to make correct choices. Writers should also be excluded too. Everyone knows they don't have the best track record when it comes to voting for things.

Agreed on fans voting. It's a popularity contest. Same with the Gold Gloves: it's a reputation contest.

Mauer caught 3 innings in an extended spring training game and felt fatigued. For christ's sake, suck it up you ****ing candyass.

Who is the best hitter on the the team now? Morneau? Delmonsy?

Pretty much sums up why Hrbek didn't win any while Don Mattingly took it home every year. What a joke.

It looks like the Twins will grab a 3rd win in a row, which should be just enough to make people think they are getting better. Which will make the next 9 game losing streak even more crushing!
