no real hiccups this week. A tie by Gustavus and a close call with AMherst, but nothing that would change my poll from last week.

OMG! Am I supposed to defend? I clearly predicted GAC's tumble and should get credit. I just learned that how to spell Concordia or else I didn't know it had a doppelganger that was kinda not-so-good.

There are actually three. There is Concordia in the CIS as well. Concordia is on the Montreal West island.
They won the first ever formal CIS championship back in 1998. That is the Canadian equivalent of the NCAA. The latter became a NCAA championship event in 2000.

I'm well aware of what the CIS is. As great as it is, they don't really apply in the situation of NCAA D3 women's hockey teams.

The first NCAA rankings were done today. However, those are the non-public rankings.

The first official rankings that we'll come out next Tuesday the 14th.

Looking forward to them as they should be very interesting to see how they pick a part the mess that already is the East and could be even more tangled up after this week with Norwich/Plattsburgh tomorrow and then RIT/Elmira in a home and home series this weekend.

I'm interested to see how the West one's play out. I'm sure it will be 1. Gustavus 2. River Falls 3. Superior but despite Gustavus' one loss, they haven't overpowered the other 2 this season, so would be nice to see them 2nd.

Well UWS should probably be ahead of Concordia :) who went 0-1-1 against gustavus 2 weekends ago and split with St. Kate last weekend :)
