Anyone have a place for me to crash in marquette friday night? I'm. In houghton for career fair and want to stay for the friday game in marquette, but would rather not drive home after the game or drop money the hotel. In my experience, the best thing to do after watching tech is to drink heavily. I'll stay wherever, except that NMUFAN21's place. He/she seems like a complete doosh. Or foxton's place because he/she is a he/she.

Aaaaaaannyways..
For the travelers looking for brews in the Sault. Moloney's Alley is a decent place to grab some suds before/after the game. Usually a decent crowd in there. Foreign fans don't always get shunned there, I met Shirtless Guy & a few others last time through. There's a bunch of other bars down Portage St. if you wanted to continue a crawl from there..

warning: If you can't sing, don't get liquored up and think suddenly you're a crooner and start yapping out songs in the bars. Most people would know not to do this already. But a reminder for folks like Big Blue, who get plowed and forget his voice sounds like Steve Urkle with his sack squeezed in a vice, and can peel wallpaper off a wall.. Yup, bartenders will threaten to call the cops on you for such an occurance.. :D

It's what we do so deal with it...its not like it was our fault...the music stopped and we were plowed.

There we go. Now by Saturday at 11 PM, I'll be halfway into a bottle of whiskey over Tech's -11 goal differential.

Ugh, just looking at this thread has me itching to make the trip. Interestingly enough, I only can if I have to work on Saturday.

In other news, the soo still sucks no matter what this smartaxe claims. Don't go there, pointless roadtrip. Terrible town, terrible team, terrible arena, 7 fans total.

Sounds like Houghton, except they have way more fans. A dozen, maybe?
