Re: 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs IV: "The game puck just got Prongered"

It would help Chicago's case immensely if they could win an offensive zone faceoff.

Re: 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs IV: "The game puck just got Prongered"

If they are going to play OT, I want it to be epic.

I mean 7+ OT epic.

Well, if that's the case, play until tomorrow morning when I get up. I'm not staying up until 2am for a game between two teams I dislike/hate.

7 OT would be about 5 am if you assume a period+intermission takes 1 hour on average.

Perfect, that's when I wake up. :D

You traveled over six hours to see Tech play NMU.

I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'.

Hahaha

Like we say in hockey: Play to win, don't play not to win

Brilliant! :D

It would help Chicago if they weren't gagging on a chicken bone right now. I guarantee Philly will win this in OT.

Shoot me now.

Dear Mr. Roenick,

Please shut up.

I don't dislike MTU. I'm indifferent on NMU. I don't care about them. :p

CHI: Byfuglien
PHI: Giroux

Re: 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs IV: "The game puck just got Prongered"

Some intermission reading on Pronger: what a jerk

But he's right.

Actually, he's not. As TBA noted, the saying is "Play to win, don't play not to lose". His version is true, but about as meaningful as saying "I think the next team to score has the best chance of winning this game". True, but pointless.

Don't you do this.

Re: 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs IV: "The game puck just got Prongered"

Maybe he learned his quotes from Denny Green.

Today the team with the most goals won?

To beat the other team, we first have to beat their goalie, then score more goals than them?

To win the Cup, we have to win at home, then win on the road?
