On one hand: he's replacing Jody Shelley, who went to Philly for a $3.3, 3 year deal. That's sort of reasonable, then.

On the other hand: TSN's got the Boogaard contract as a 4 year deal for $6.5! That's bat **** crazy.

Having hands of stone certainly is an asset when pummeling some poor sap but they sure hurt the old scoring touch.

I like Boogaard as much as the next Wild fan, but Glen Sather is out of his mind.

That Boogaard contract is the new #1 reason why Glen Sather is both a miserable executive and the funniest motherf-cker in the league.
