nice to see him win. and that was some dang good driving by jr to get through there and finish 2nd.

That was an amazing run by Junior at the end. I bet if he was willing to wreck McMurray, he could have pushed him out of the way.

I disagree. Robby is the better of the two Gordon's. He got messed up in a wreck pretty badly last summer, then flew to Crandon, WI for the off road races there and drove like a BA.

It was great to see both Johnson and Gordon fail. I would also like to give credit to Paul Menard on his 13th place finish. Good to see him finish well.

No, just think he is a jerk. You guys obviously get to hate people for reasons like that without ever having talked to them, can't I? :p

I honestly think all of them are whiners. That is probably why Jeff's whining doesn't irk me to lunacy like it seems to for so many others.

Please... Every nascar driver is a big fat whiner. The only thing that matters to most fans is whether or not said driver is from south of the mason-dixon.

Definitely an awesome finish. I wasn't too upset over the delays, because they allowed PB & I to actually make it home to watch the last 70 (had a broomball game before that). I must say, it's nice to finally have a boyfriend who appreciates racing :)
Jamie's a really good guy, I almost cried when he was crying in Victory Lane :p
I'm not a Jr. fan, but hell, he definitely was a tricky bastard there. Props to go my man Kenseth as well for moving up from 21st to 8th in the last two laps. We were watching the ticker as they crossed the line, and laughing about McMurray, and then when we saw Kenseth, I believe we said at the exact same time "HOLY SH|T!"

Well, I DVRed the race and was really proud of myself for remembering to add about 90 minutes to the end of the recording, knowing that stupid sh*t happens in NASCAR all the time..... only to STILL miss the end. Gah!

I feel bad for NASCAR here honestly. Most of the damage to the sport has been self-inflicted over the past few years, but now they're genuinely trying to make the product better and more fan-friendly - only to have the freakin' track fall apart. That must have destroyed TV ratings for the finish. Brutal.

Glad to see Kenseth sneak his way up to 8th.

I was actually able to take a nap right after the first red flag, and by the time I woke up, they were still under red flag and still talking in the studio.

Nice to see Truex run so well with Waltrips equipment, sucks to see his former car in victory lane.

Glad to see Kenseth snuck into the top 10 .

Considering I didn't watch but 30 laps of the race, and prior to the last 12 laps I saw that he was around 26th, yes, eighth was good. :p

Kenseth sucks on plate tracks, last years rain shortened win was a fluke (an awesome fluke at that :D)

It was hard to see how he moved up at the end. The yellow dewalt was easier to spot than the dark purple crown.

The easiest one to spot yesterday was Martin's neon green car. :p

Over the last couple years I've really started to cheer for Mark Martin, that old bastard still races with the best of them, and it is awesome.

After watching the USA lose to Canada yesterday I was not in a very good mood, of course, so I decided to try and find things to get my mind off of hockey. The first place I go to is the NASCAR web page. Needless to say, it only increased my rage ten fold when I saw Johnson had won for the second week in a row. Guess it was just a day for whiny little ***** athletes to **** me off yesterday.:mad:

NASCAR has said that they are going to let drivers police themselves a little more this year, and I applaud that. However, I think they made the correct move in parking Edwards, I just wish it would have affected his point a little more. I'm not sure I'm in favor of them sitting him for a week, but a fine and super secret double probation until the end of the year doesn't really do a lot either.
