Re: 2010 Maine offseason: a lazy summer on the Stillwater

That's not a bad deal for $99. A shame the BC game up there is a Sunday late afternoon game.

Hope you're ready for next weekend...

i was originally going to get three tix to the bc game but then realized it was on sunday and changed it to unh...

all systems go for next weekend... blindfolded, cigarette in mouth, waiting for the firing squad...

Chit...what did I miss? You getting married (marred) or something? :D

Re: 2010 Maine offseason: a lazy summer on the Stillwater

Looking forward to the upcoming season and a better year for the Black Bears.

I've followed Maine hockey since the early '80s while growing up in southern New Brunswick (news, updates, and a few games a season on WLBZ-TV Bangor at the time) - I've made the occasional weekend trip to Orono for games in recent years and I'll be in East Lansing next month for 2 vs. Michigan State.

I've enjoyed following the news and talk about the team posted here on the Fan Forum for several years now, and figure it's time to join in occasionally and add my two cents.

Cool, welcome aboard. Look forward to your comments about the games in E Lansing

i dont know if anyone noticed a previous post, but i also saw Dimmen at the last home game with an air cast on his left ankle. the season is going to be here soon so does anyone know if its serious or what?

Curious what Maine fans are expecting out of Jeff Dimmen and Mark Anthoine this year. I would expect Dimmen to be one of the top dmen in Hockey East, not sure about Anthoine.

I think that Anthoine will be a pleasant surprise. I wouldn't be surprised to see him be a 20 point guy.

Bump - Season starts in less than a month - I have seen a few informal practices and I am really impressed with Martin Ouellette. I was concentrating on the goalies because of the questions going into the season.

We also have a few little guys that can really fly around - they seem to have good hands too!

Discuss!

Thanks for the update, John. I haven't seen them practice yet. Hope to see them soon. I know it changes, but what time are they practicing?

I have only been able to make it up on Saturdays and they were on the ice in the early afternoon

Ouellette is the key to the season, he doesn't have to be awesome but he needs to be consistent. Can't wait to see him play

When I was at the rink, Dan O'Connell was in goal during a session with three forwards. He looked pretty sharp, as well. The only puck that got past him was shot by Coach Corkum.
