2010 Dodge Holiday Classic (Minn, BGU, NMU, Clarkson)

Re: 2010 Dodge Holiday Classic (Minn, BGU, NMU, Clarkson)

Should be interesting to see Cepis finally play a game after the year off and it comes against his former team Ben-Gurion University. How do the Fighting Shaloms feel about this?

Ben-Gurion University? I thought it was Bakke Graduate University, a Christian-based education innovatively delivered throughout the urban world. These guys are terrible this year.

Cepis played two seasons in the USHL with Cedar Rapids where he played with Wehrs and Patterson. He did exceptionally well and had 72 points (34-38) in 58 games, ranked first in goals and third in points his last season.

The following season at Bowling Green, he had 15 goals and 16 assists and was named to the CCHA all-rookie team. His last year with Bowling Green was not so favorable, only playing 18 games with 1 goal and 4 assists before announcing he would transfer out.

If Cepis can show some of his USHL domination and freshman performance in the CCHA, he will certainly provide the offensive boost for the Gophers at the right time. However, having a year off could also mean lots of game adjustments before he will be the offensive threat he once was. Should be an interesting game to see.

I always wondered about that drop in production between years (and playing time). Does anyone know what the story is? You take away the Soph year and things look very promising. With that year, it is a little more unclear of what to expect.

The report suggested he and coach Paluch had a falling out.

Horrible season for Clarkson to make their first appearance at Minny in forever. I have never seen a Clarkson team this bad and if playing with only 11 forwards and 7 D healthy isn't bad enough, our assistant coach left for the QMJHL.

I'd agree. Clarkson is horrible this year. I can't decide which team is worse, Michigan Tech or Clarkson. It's unfortunate, because most Clarkson teams would have given tUMD a nice PWR boost for the sweep in October. Not this year.

Yet, Tech beat your team...

NMU can look forward to getting bent over and shown the broomstick. It's sad that our program has become a national punchline and we are now the bunny in these tournaments. Minn. isn't great, but they should win this tournament. NMU just can't compete with big schools.

Yep, it is the big schools that NMU has trouble with...

vs. MSU, Notre Dame and Ohio State: 3-2-1
vs. LSSU, MTU and Alaska: 0-3-2

Try to make sure what you're typing at least has some semblance of validity before you start your BS again.

Ladies and gentlemen of BGSU, Minnesota, and Clarkson: meet bwk. He's a troll. Please do not feed in to his games.

Re: 2010 Dodge Holiday Classic (Minn, BGU, NMU, Clarkson)

Don't worry bwk, Minnesota has had trouble competing schools that wear green. Except UAA, of course.
