Klaver has already been picked.

Re: 2010-2011 D3fhl Official Draft Thread

Was Houle a Junior or senior last season???

The J&W website and the ECAC site had him listed as a senior last year. Otherwise, he might have been my F pick in round 1.

That said, if those are wrong...he's a steal.

Re: 2010-2011 D3fhl Official Draft Thread

My bad...give me William Lacasse def. Neumann.

I wondered about that. I did look him up on J&W 2009-2010 roster.

10 Craig Houle Jr. F 5-10 160 Burrillville, RI/Portland Pirates-AJHL

Update edit. Houle is listed on USCHO as a Fr. on 2006-2007, as a So 2007-2008, is not listed on 2008-2009, is listed as a Jr. 2009-2010. Has he graduated? Did he take a year off (hockey and/or school) in 08-09? Is is still in Providence? If so, does he have another year of eligibility? Did I mess up? Should I drop him like a hot potato, or gamble that he is the sleeper pick of the year? Should I hack into J&W administrative compu......oops, did not mean to type that...fortunately nobody ever reads what I write when it is more than one or two lines. I guess we will see soon enough.

Yeah, I have no idea. CHS has him as a junior last year and USCHO will mirror that as that's where the USCHO info comes from. I had enough doubts I passed on him.

I would have e-mailed and just asked him but I figured I'm a big enough dork as it is. "Yeah so hey...like, I'm in this DIII fantasy league. Did you graduate? If not I'm hoping to snag you with my first rounder!" :o

While we're wondering about the eligibility of certain players, there's another player that I'm wondering about.
Josh Celleja f, river falls
Dakota Dubetz f, marian
Ryan Barlock d, curry
Paul Conter d, south maine
Bo Storozuk G, river falls
UWRF's website had Storozuk listed as a Senior last year. From what I know, Storozuk played the 2006-07 season at Northland, sat out the 2007-08 season, transferred to UWRF, then played the last two years there.

I could be mistaken, I just don't want someone to get shafted out of a pick.

(Random note: Did you know Bo Storozuk's 1,091 saves in the 2006-07 season is tied for third most by a D-III goalie in a season? See Page 5 here)

Re: 2010-2011 D3fhl Official Draft Thread

In a press release on the Johnson & Wales website, it says that Houle was a senior last season. I thought about taking him too, but checked into real quick and found that out.

3-0 Chicago Bears!!!
