2009 MN Twins Part 4: I Was Told There Would Be No Math

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 4: I Was Told There Would Be No Math

It's sad when half the lineup could learn something from Punto about how to bat.

Sadly, I must leave you fine folks to partake on my team's journeys through playoff (what appears to be forthcoming) Hell.

Good luck, and Godspeed.

Go Boston. We may need you to knock these Turkey's off.

Nathan hasn't been good in the 2nd half. The numbers might be good, but he has looked afraid a lot of the time. I'm sure the gameplan for Alex is get behind 3-1 then throw a meatball. Let's see if Gardy is as quick to light Joe up as he is Mijares.

that was very strange. granted the hp ump has been very wide tonight, but the first three pitches were all breaking balls off the plate outside. he doesn't chase. nathan throws an inside strike when he was taking all the way. THEN comes down broadway.

at that point, just walk him, or throw another breaking ball low and away so he can't pop it out.

Have to play mistake free baseball against these guys. Gomez makes the first blunder, Nathan with the next one. When one of your best players screw up it's hard to win against these guys.

What the F are they doing? Just get the god d*mn outs at the plate. That runner will never score that way.

Ha Ha. Their great base runner got doubled up.
That was such a bad baserunning play that it is starting to look like pro wrestling where everything is scripted.
