That the sucking sound coming from Minneapolis in late August was actually the Twins pulling their heads out of their asses.
I always thought that since bouncyball season is getting closer, the Timberpuppies selfishly stole most of the suck in the Metro area...

Choose your witty reply:

1. We have a basketball team?
2. I think the Timberpuppies own the Suck and just sublet it during the offseason.

Royals are giving away tonight's game

Twins have 2 hits, and have been walked 7 times already. Mauer 3 times alone.

Twins lead 5-1 in the 5th. 2 runs walked in this inning so far.

Finally a pitching change from KC.

Edit: Cruz comes in and walks Cuddyer and another run in. 6-1, 1 out.

White Sux just went up 2-0 as well heading into the 7th.

If they could steal 2 out of the 3 at home, that would be a tremendous help.

Look for Chicago's bullpen to blow the lead.

No surprise that Delmon comes up hacking and strikes out. Apparently the 8 walks meant nothing to him.

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 3 - It's still not over...statistically

Yuck.

The Twins should know from watching the Royals the past few weeks that they don't just lay down and die.

6-4 Minnesota.

Dear Twins and their fans:

That draft you feel is from us leaving the **** door open for you.

Sincerely,
The crew that plays their home games at Comerica Park.

Twins and Royals tied at 0 in the 2nd, while Chicago is up on Detroit 2-0 in the 2nd.

Yuck.

Baker does not look good in this game.

At least they are solo. Good strike out and a fly-out to follow. He isn't normally a ground ball pitcher [though, as I write this, a GB out for the end of the 2nd], so he's got to work around that.

Need some bats NOW. Maybe Baker will channel Radke and this will be it for his runs against :o

Sox 2, Tigers 0.

Baker will need to shut down Kansas City, as I don't see the Twins scoring a lot in this one. I hope I'm wrong though.
