What a screw up by Casilla. Nice analysis there.

You have, have, have to know where the fielders are. Now we know why he hasn't played in many weeks.

I am afraid to ask, who is coming in?

With Orlando on deck and you see Casilla out dancing around like a moron and completely clueless you have to hold him at third.

Cardinal rule: You do NOT get the last out at home or third. EVER.

I see both sides to this (unbiased view).

1. you have to give yourself a chance at your home ballpark, and do you want to be left wondering "what if he HAD gone"?

2. Above.

Super tough decision there, and probably a reason none of us are managers;)

Gardy has put them in a VERY bad spot. Now Detroit will have gone through our order in the bottom on the ninth without facing Mauer or Kubel. Same problem next inning.

Casilla ran that like a donkey and still almost made it. The tag touched the brim of his visor on the way in, otherwise the tag on the hip was late.

You have a good hitter, the momentum, up next. Short fly. Don't run there. Just. Don't.

Ulger should have held Casilla then they should have pinch ran Mike Redmond just so Casilla was fully aware of just how big a moron he is.

Meanwhile, Punto is silently grinning because he knows he's the starter at 2nd next season.

Your right about third, but this isn't softball. You have to try to score with two outs.

Short fly? Nope.

Anyway, how awesome would it be for a Baby Jesus walk-off?

Let's face it. A real baserunner would have been safe there. Casilla blew it.
