It doesn't trump letting Gump Laird hit with two on in the 8th inning with the season on the line.

This is going to get ugly if the bullpen gets down to guys like Keppel, Manship and Gabino.

edit: or at some point you just put Liriano in and hope he has something today.

We need enough AB this inning to clear the bottom of our order. We want the top for the 9th.
