unconfirmed reports that Stack has a minor injury - more likely that its just her time to sit out a game, as 2 players have each game on this Qwest tour

I thought Zaugg was no longer a Zuagg....or at least a hyphenated Zaugg. Didn't she get married?? (I know, she will alway be J Zaugg to us :))

Correct. Was married this year (to her high school line-mate) and is now Zaugg-Siergiej

Team USA game recap

Hilary Knight had a hand in three goals and Molly Schaus turned aside all 15 shots in leading the U.S. Women's National Team to a 4-0 win over Finland here tonight in the opening game of the 2009 Women's Four Nations Cup at Mikkeli Arena.

Shots were 52-15 for the US. Räty had 48 saves for the Finns.

Her D at UM and Finland need to step it up a bit.

Shooting chart from this link. Team Finland NCAA players were used to game tempo. Local women league players had serious troubles. Only way to develop female hockey at national level is to have more NCAA players in the future. Unfortunately I can not see enough talents in the near future. We have to wait for age groups 1995+ and hope that the now growing number of young girls will produce talent.

Thanks. Will be forwarded to Team Finland locker room. Actually Noora had to compete heavily for no#1 spot to boy's Midget and Bantam AAA teams.
