2009 Four Nations Cup, Finland

Re: 2009 Four Nations Cup, vs Sweden

Unfortunately i will not be able to watch and provide updates for today's game until roughly the 3rd period. Is anyone else up to the task?
Hopefully the camera angles are ok. It will be challenging to shoot the game there. Have done that. I will be in Kerava 20 miles north from Helsinki. FIN-CAN game. Noora is not between the pipes this evening.

Enjoying the game so far today. 2-0 Team USA over Sweden after 1 period. MLam and Darwitz with the goals. Camera angles have been good.

Don't know about the procedural penalty against Team USA for coming out of the locker room late before period 2, though.

EDIT: Brian on the webcast just said that the clocks in the arena are not in sync, and he implied that the one in the USA's locker room may have been incorrect.

Interesting rink... It appears that the penalty boxes actually are boxes, as the press folks are sitting on a second level above the them.

Pernilla Winberg score a PP goal for Sweden to make it 2-1 after a scramble at the net mouth.

EDIT: No additional scoring in the second. After 2 periods, 2-1 USA.

Final USA 3 - SWE 2
Nice top shelf goal by Darwitz to put USA up 3 - 1. Good thing, because USA took a late game penalty and Sweden converted with 8 seconds remaining. Darwitz' 2 goals good for POG.

In the other game, it was Canada 4, Finland 2. Saara Tuominen had both goals for the Finns. Sarah Vaillancourt had two goals for the Canadians. Shots were 41-17 for the Canadians.
