2009-2010 Top U19 Teams

Re: 2009-2010 Top U19 Teams

So I purchased my first whoopie pie a few weeks ago....it was pretty good, very messy though and not a road trip type snack...moon pies are definitely better suited for driving.

Whoopie pies, like Taco Bell, are better eaten at the table;) It may be safer to text behind the wheel than negotiate such sloppy taste delights while driving, (but please don't conduct any experiments for comparison:eek: )

Has the FDA mandated those warning labels regarding driving or operating heavy machinery yet? ;)

with voice to text, I don't have to worry about texting while driving:D Now to find a bite size whoopie pie...I wonder how the oreo cakesters are compared to whoopie pies/

And this is an award for ?
The Carlton Award, named in honor of the late Bruins scout and administrator, is presented annually to the outstanding male and female student-athlete in Eastern Massachusetts who combine exceptional hockey skills with academic excellence, by the Boston Bruins organization.

Back to the subject at hand.....It is the season for league finals.

This past weekend was the Final Tour in the CEGEP league, held in Drummondville.

Montpetit (sans de services of D'Aoust, who was in Chicago) won the league championships. They are repeat champs, as they upset the heavily favored Dawson Blues (sans Poulin) in last years final. Montpetit beat Lafleche in the final. St-Jerome won the Bronze over Limiloui.

Next weekend is the PWHL final Four in Toronto (Mississauga actually), with the Aeros, Missy, Stoney and Bluewater the last four left standing.

The JWHL was won by Warner earlier in the year, and POE won the Challenge Cup.

When is Nats in the US ?.

While US NAts is down to the final four (SSM,Mission, Colorado and AV), this weekend is also the PWHL final four.

Semis today had Missy 2-1 over Stoney and Aeros 7-2 over Bluewater.

So best two teams all year in Ontario for the Gold tomorrow....Missy vs Aeros.

Missy has the current edge HTH.
Aeros won Provincials
Missy won PWHL Reg season and Winterlude and Stoney tournaments.

That will be a fantastic final... too bad I cannot be in two places at once. I'll be watching SSM battle AV for the national title in lovely Green Bay, WI (and I mean that sincerely - I've been VERY impressed with the town and amenities). Good luck to both Missy and the Aeros!!!

Maybe you can be in two place at once. For anyone interested, the Missy Aeros final is being webcast live free of charge courtesy of Fast Hockey at 1:30 PM Sunday. It can be accessed through the PWHL league website at www.pwhl.ca
