2009-2010: Official Minnesota Wild Thread

Re: 2009-2010: Official Minnesota Wild Thread

Why the hell do they put games on channel 45??? It looks like horse****!! Why is the video quality so much worse than on FSN?

Because it's being converted wrong. Same reason the Maverick games broadcast on public access look like crap. Blame Comcast.

Re: 2009-2010: Official Minnesota Wild Thread

I think I have seen various stations use CBJ, which just makes too much sense for 45.

Re: 2009-2010: Official Minnesota Wild Thread

Ugh why is NHL.com online season pass $159 when TV version is only $129/$149?

I'd get the online one since I could get all the Versus games.

Re: 2009-2010: Official Minnesota Wild Thread

Premature horn blowage.

I can already see that there is substantially less defense so far. Not sure it is exactly what they were aiming for, however.:D

Re: 2009-2010: Official Minnesota Wild Thread

I don't really understand how the Wild plan to improve the offense by moving John Scott to forward.:p

But we have Dish Network....

I don't think you do. I have the online one and I'm not getting the Versus games.

Hmmm...either way it's a conversion issue. Could be that this is being shot in HD. If something is shot in HD and is viewed on a non-HD channel, the video is all blown out (bright).

Not even via the archive (replay) feature?

For baseball I have to wait till 45 min after the game ends to watch the Fox Saturday games. But they are available.

Oh yes, I'm sure you can do that. I thought you were talking about live.

Wild taking a page from baseball with their defensive indifference during the power play.

Re: 2009-2010: Official Minnesota Wild Thread

Even though Bruno is so far past his prime that he can't see it in his rear view mirror, he still has enough to tie the game.
