I think he was referring to mondays not counting for the LPS:

So here's how it works:
1) Each week, before the first games start on Friday, you must select the winner in one D-II/III men's hockey game played on that Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. (The lone exception is over winter break, when the games are few and far between for about 3 weeks. Recent tradition is that we take these weeks off... but stay tuned. Most of you will be eliminated by then anyways ).

But then again, it's still winter break... does this mean that the rule doesn't apply?

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

After Sunday's game, LPS will be off until January 1st-3rd 2010. This is probably a bit self-evident, since there aren't any games to pick for 2 weeks anyways.

Feel free to get your picks in as early as you feel like, in order to avoid forgetting over the holidays. The first two games start at 4PM Eastern on New Year's Day, so don't wait until the last minute.
