There is far too little woofing in this thread. The BC/UW thread reads like an episode of Jerry Springer, while this is more like the The Weather Channel.

I have to agree!

Cornell and BU are both very good teams, and it should be a great game. Certainly, hoping the Big Red can pull out the victory.

I'm also very excited for this matchup tn. Great to see that both teams are at full strength after injuries to crucial players (I'm assuming jcampbell is close to 100%. Just hoping to see a competitive game, blowouts are no fun.

I can almost hear the elevator music.
They really haven't played too many common opponents. We can always go for straight trash talk.
Then the question is which side should I pick? Cornnell for all the games they won? or BU for beating mercyhurst in the quarterfinal?

I don't know what the announcer will do now with no WCHA team playing....he was really a western homer! This will be a great game too but with UNH playing at 8 also, how can I concentrate over here at the computer?

I guess it's all perspective. I thought they were both pro-BC. They spent the 3rd period begging for a call every time a BC player fell.

On another front, BU has a basketball team? Who knew. I don't remember ever seeing them before.

I honestly didn't notice. I think my mind just filters that out.

On another front, BU has a basketball team? Who knew. I don't remember ever seeing them before.

They did make the NCAA tourney in the late 80s I think, maybe later.

It seems that year in, year out, in men's soccor, women's field hockey B-Ball, and lacrosse BU beats UNH in the regional championships and then fades in the nationals.....alas our lot in life! But not in hockey!
