UMass Dartmouth leads Fitchburg State 2-0, through two periods.

Goalscorers:
UMD: Ryan Hurd (3-PP, 11:07 of 1st), Jason Marquis (5, 18:09 of 2nd)
FIT: none

Goaltenders:
UMD: Collin Tracy (25 saves / 25 shots)
FIT: Bobby Vorse (25 saves / 27 shots)

Power Play:
UMD: 1/5
FIT: 0/4 (will start 3rd period on the PP for 1:20)

The only goal of the period came from a rebound. Ryan Hurd got a shot off from the blue line, which Vorse stopped. Jason Marquis was waiting in front though, and put the puck past Vorse before anyone could react. No chance to stop that one.

With Plymouth winning today (7-4 over Westfield), Fitchburg is locked into the fourth seed (and will play Worcester on Tuesday) no matter what happens today. UMass Dartmouth can win the MASCAC regular season championship with a win today.

There do not seem to be many fans @ the Trinity-Williams game. Come to think of it when Wick played the Elps there were more Wick fans. To bad considering the games were free.

So Colby will get either Bowdoin at Williams...or Trinity at Bowdoin next weekend in the Semis...

I think there was a basketball game at the same time, never good for hockey attendance, which is usually suspect enough on its own

Trinity goalie playing out of his mind, Williams has been all over him in the 3rd period, only gotten one past him

Think of it this way: when you score on the delayed penalty, each team has six players on the ice....the offending team hasn't served any penalty yet. Therefore, even after a delayed penalty goal, the offending team needs to serve a penalty.

I never understood the old rule - it was especially unfair when the offended team never got their goalie off the ice. There should be consequences for a penalty

Fitchburg State falls to 15-9-1 (9-8-1 MASCAC), and will host Worcester State on Tuesday. UMass Dartmouth improves to 18-6-1 (13-4-1 MASCAC), and will host the winner of the Fitchburg/Worcester game on Thursday.
