I am not going to say that NEC should have won the game, Castleton did outplay them for the majority of it. But way the game ended, or should I say didn't end was despicable. The refs allowed the kids to play, both sides had penalties that were over looked and allowed to play on.
But when the ref called off New England College goal in overtime, I knew it wasn't going to end in the Pilgrims favor.
Being an hockey alum, I am a little bias, but I had the best view in the house, I can truly say it was the wrong call. The puck deflected off the goalie, and immediately deflected off the centers skates. There was zero time to angle them, zero time to move into position, the center was coming to a stop BEFORE the shot was even taken, it was literally a bang bang play.
It's a horrible way to see such a great game, a great season end, all because of a blown call.

Did I hear them say that if it was a tie after the O T. it goes to a shootout, or was I having a stroke?

that's true...
Not necessarily a spectacular performance by SNC but more than plenty to take care of Larry. Will need to play better next weekend, however.

Yes. A full 20 regardless of score. Could 1-0 or 6-2. Then sudden death.

I know we know the score... but would be nice if they'd reset the scoreboard on the LFC feed... and myabe follow the puck a bit more...
