Webcasts.

They look good and are as talented as any team in the country. But one game on any given day with a hot goaltender can change things in a hurry.

Just saying I'm weary of what Fredonia can do and has done in the playoffs to Oswego and it's a team that scares me. That's all...Is Oswego the favorite to win? Absolutely. But, it won't shock me if they lose either. I hope I'm not saying I told you so Saturday and Oswego pumps them by 10 again. I'd love it.

In '07 Oswego's roster had 15 sophomores, this year they have 14 Juniors. More experience or SSDD.

Old memories die hard - the only way to put this Fredonia Syndrome six feet under is a repeat drubbing from a couple weeks back AND taking the NCAA title. Until it rests in peace, though... not unlike yourself, I am optimistic too.

At the same time, throw out what happened in past seasons. I'm sure there are enough guys on this year's team who remember what happened last year and are eager to not let it happen again.

Fredonia split with Geneseo during the regular season in '06-07 AND in '11-'12.

For the record, Fredonia is not unbeatable against Oswego in the SUNYAC semis. I was at a game one year when it was a four team tourney at one site (geneseo in this case) when we knocked off the Devils in a thriller 3-2. Our goalie, Rob Moore, stopped around 45 shots.

It was 21 years ago in 1991, but it did happen.

Aside from the Oz and Platty contingents, there are few SUNYAC fans for the other squads - insert reason here--> for how we scare them away.
I really wouldn't mind the extra members that could shed a better light on their teams.

We do have a couple of Potsdam fans (Saints17 for one) and I think a couple Genny fans, but I would love to see more fans from SUNYAC teams on here.

They shouldn't be laughing too hard -- Clay Lewis is not playing the next game. He got a DQ for fighting.

In another life I knew more about Fredonia, but that was long enough ago that I've moved on to other things, but always like to see them do well, especially winning @ Genny [Could NEVER win there] tonight

Question about the Potsdam DQs. Are they out for the first SUNYAC game next year or the first game of the season?

The last time Oswego lost to Fredonia in the semi's they turned around and beat them 4-1 the next year to advance to play Platty in the final. That game was not even as close as the score and if not for Kevin Amborski it could have easily been 8 or 9-1.
