2/16/13 - Do or die! Tee times! Home or Road? & the DMG!!! SCORES!!!

Yes but consistency would be nice. The hit on Jensen early 2nd was just as deserving with a no call....but thats what St.Louis is for....

How about Brenton taking a whack at Hare after the whistle and then McConney protects his goalie and he gets sent to the box?

Dupree almost put one directly into the Oswego net too when he failed to get out of the way of a puck along the boards and almost sent it into a wide open net. Missed to the right by about a foot.

Oh yeah...really miss the old Stafford and the atmosphere.

I'm watching on video so I admit I may not have had a good angle on it. But it looked to me like the D knew he was there (i.e he was able to defend himself) and he tried to slow up and turn into the Platty forward to get body position...and the Platty forward just overpowered him and rode him into the boards. His edge gave out which definitely made it look ugly...but I didn't think it was a boarding call.

Remy's argument for consistency is valid, but I just went back and watched it again, and that was absolutely a correct call. Even with the Red & white tinted glasses on, that's a boarding call any day.

Did thedefenseman know he was there? Yes. But he lost his edge and couldn't defend himself as a result. Radisa knew he was coming in straight at the numbers, but didn't pull up. IMO, good call.

If this 1-1 tie holds in Massena, who gets the sixth seed in the SUNYAC, Brockport or Potsdam? Tie on points, tie on h2h (both were OT wins), tie on conference wins... What's next, conference scoring margin?

Conn college needed 2 points to get into the NESCAC playoffs since Hamilton had the tiebreaker.

Same situation Potsdam is in tonight. They cannot tie, so they would do the something if it goes late into overtime.

Right now, Potsdam just took a 2-1 lead early in the third.

According to the SUNYAC rules:

Section 5: Method of Determining Champion
A. The Conference Championship shall be determined by a six-team tournament.
The Ice Hockey Coaches Committee set up the following criteria to determine
the selection of the six teams. In the event of ties the following format
will be used to determine seeding:
1. The best record of tied teams against each other based on Conference
play (tournament play will not be considered).
2. Number of total conference wins over ties if points are equal.
3. Goal differential against each other in Conference play.
4. Goal differential against all other Conference teams.
5. Coin flip by Commissioner.
Displacement - defined as automatic bumping to lower position.

Emmerling with his second of the game with a nice assist from Gorman. Now 4-2 Plattsburgh.

Tic-tac toe passing in front of the crease and Moodie buries home a PPG. 4-3 Cards. Still a game.
