Anybody catch who the oswego player who pulled a 'castleton' after the buzzer was? Nice slash at Brenton that put him down on the ice...

Plattsburg mucks out another one! Had to block 20 + shots, coming out of the corner with pucks, and most importantly slowed down Oswego's transition game. That is a great win for them with their team banged up as much as they are

At Alfond arena in Waterville, The Polar Bears hang on to their lead and the game ends 5 to 2 Bowdoin. With one minute left a squid was thrown onto the face off circle where the puck was about to be served up... a non event in Maine, I guess. The squid was immediately scooped up and the puck was dropped. Colby put up a great fight against a formidable opponent; they look like a team to watch out for later in the season.

Nice win for Plattsburgh tonight. Should be a barn burner when #1 Norwich travels to Plattsburgh this coming Friday night. Good to know it is a Friday game and not a Saturday game.

Muise with the spear and disqualification at the 20 minute mark. No need for that, I would be surprised if Eddie doesn't add some time to the suspension.
Great game from both teams. Looking forward to the rematch later in the season.

Even Castleton has more class than to pull that cowardly play by Muise at the end of the game. Muise needs to be suspended from a conference game. I was disappointed to see the Cards shake hands after that happened. Should not show any respect to clowns with no respect for you.

Gotta shake hands man its part of the game. However, that punk move by that thug is also part of the game. Just makes what happens at the end of the season so much more fun. Gotta love this rivalry.

Nah, a castleton player did pretty much the same thing after a Norwich game last year. Only difference is, the refs didn't catch it in that one (or chose not to call it), and coach Todd over in Rutland didn't give the player any supplemental discipline. That's why I referred to it as a 'castleton'.
Also, the only person who can call off handshakes is the referee. And honestly, they probably should have.

My bad, I missed hearing about that. But if Castleton is the company Oswego wants to keep conduct-wise, here's hoping they get theirs from a player who doesn't mine missing a game or two himself.

I don't commend Muise's actions and would like it if the conference forced him to sit or Eddie does. But, to say that the Lakers don't respect the Plattsburgh players and Coach Emery is just ignorant. Some of the players actually hugged one another and had some respectful handshakes. A lot of these guys know one another from juniors and gained that respect playing then. It was just one incident and not a reflection on the team as a whole. Muisey is a fiery kid and let his emotions get the better of him. I know he wanted that game probably more than anybody in the building being a senior. His actions again though are totally uncalled for and leave a black mark on that game that was a barn burner at the end.

Agree.....even Brenton went and shaked hands with Muise after...
But Gosek said it himself after the game that the "******* at the reffs" needs to stop. To much chirping amoung the players. As I said....it seems like Oswego could be going into the next game down a man or two to make a point.

Exactly even the two involved in the incident shook hands and exchanged some words. Chris Brown immediately went over to Brenton after he got up and I could read his lips when he said "Are you alright". That's why Brownie is one of the captains.

Final score of 4-1. Geneseo got a bit sloppy towards the end looking for style points, but they skated well and it should be another confidence builder for Haude. It was also nice to see Brickler back in the line-up.
