Action kicks off @ 2 PM ET with a couple of MASCAC conference games. However, round 1 of the potential 3 rounder between Plattsburgh and Oswego is our featured game with puck drop @ 7. A loss by the Cardinals could drop them out of the top 10.

Don't know how far the reach will be, but Time Warner Sports will be broadcasting the Buffalo State - Utica College game tonight at 7:00.

The lights are turned off at Spartan Arena. Getting ready for Norwich vs Castleton. Late arriving crowd this afternoon.

The Battle of Vermont isn't quite what it used to be...Plenty of empty seats at Spartan Arena today and not quite the same buzz as the last few years have been one and off the ice so far.

Castleton takes advantage of a power play with a snipe from Nick Lazorko over Chris Czarnota's glove to take a 1-0 lead on #2 Norwich after the first period.

Very few whistles and very few shots.

After 2 at Spartan Arena it's 1-1 between the Cadets and the Spartans. Travis Janke tied the game at 16:02 of the 2nd, off a pretty feed from behind the net by Colin Mulvey.

Castleton taking it to Norwich through 13 minutes of third period. Herzog hits post and Zeggil with two chances just going wide including one on a wide open net on the backhand.
