those fucking boomers.

read a great piece today on boomers who are all moving to florida and complaining about how climate change has boned the housing market. the quote was "boomers do not care about climate change, and they say they didnt work their entire lives to retire inland from the beach, they need to be on the beach"

they can't die fast enough

Another interesting tidbit coming out today about Massie's loss: the math ain't quite mathin'.

~44,000 votes total in 2012. Massie wins w/ 20,000
No primary opponent in 2014
No primary opponent in 2016
No primary opponent in 2018
~84,000 votes total in 2020. Massie wins w/ 68,500
~67,000 votes total in 2022. Massie wins w/ 50,000
~52,500 votes total in 2024. Massie wins w/ 40,000
~105,000 votes total in 2026. Massie loses w/ 47,000.
Epstein Ed wins with 57,000 votes. After just a 16 week campaign. And the most money ever donated for a house race.

🤔

GOP Senate leaders met with the acting AG Todd Blanche and expressed their opposition to this $1.776B slush fund, then announced the expected vote on the budget (DHS) that were planned today will be postponed until at least June.

The child rapist war criminal will have to find another way to pay his ICE brownshirts to kill Americans...

I love how every generation thinks it is any different from the ones before.

I also love how boomer white men with multiple homes always tell us we're wrong.

i hope to not live long enough to see anything beyond the boomers, so i'll just have to hope it changes after Im out of this hellhole

I'm thinking about building another.

One of the (dis)advantages of Boomerism is having lived long enough to have heard this song come around on the guitar at least 4x now. It is what every {Gena+1, Gena+2, ... Gena+n} says about every Gena.

It would still be funny if generations had meaning, but it's significantly better since they don't.

Now 'scuse me while I dine on the sweet fresh blood of Genalpha. I don't go near Genx (too bitter) or Millenial (too bland).

This coming from the same guy who told us we should give Drew and some other poster the benefit of the doubt but both of them magically continued their maga ways.

Forgive me if I, and others, don't trust your judgement.
