It would be nice if the moderates were actually moderate but they are even more radical (Fetterman) than your average American.

They are both flawed. Talarico can win statewide; Crockett would get utterly destroyed.

Take the win. Pay Crockett off with some sweet gig.

Now hope Cornyn and Paxton go nuclear on each other. They are both almost impossibly corrupt even by Texas GOP standards. I hope they each oppo the other to the pits of hell so Talarico can walk over the body. Picking up a TX Senate seat would be seismic.

She conceded. She knows the game.

I don't know any functioning human who doesn't know Crockett is very smart. She thinks on her feet and she knows exactly how to drive the knife in whereas most Dems sit there twiddling their thumbs. The people who think she's dumb aren't DURR MEN they're DURR MAGAts.

She is an ideal Senator from California. The misogyny and racism of Texas make her an impossible ask. So much the worse for Texas.
