It's Nebraska. Ignore the fact that Omaha's EV has now turned blue twice in the last 20 years and the population passes liberal referendums all the time, there's all sorts of built in barriers to turning even the city of Omaha blue, let alone any statewide race, and a disorganized democratic party is just the tip of the iceberg. The county attorney in Omaha just switched parties to R because he was offended at being questioned over his handling of the BLM protest murder in the Old Market by a noted white supremacist (he was gonna let the guy skate, mounting pressure got a special prosecutor appointed, grand jury indicted, guy offed himself days later rather than face a trial). He'll probably still win in a landslide because the real power brokers in the city (old rich white Catholics) will support him.
