The Great Republican Minds did another Benghazi in the Senate. This time centered on Joe Biden, and Hunter Biden. And they failed again.

Republican Inquiry Finds No Evidence of Wrongdoing by Biden

The report delivered on Wednesday appeared to be little more than a rehashing of unproven allegations that echoed a Russian disinformation campaign.

WASHINGTON — An election-year investigation by Senate Republicans into corruption allegations against Joseph R. Biden Jr., the Democratic presidential nominee, and his son, Hunter, involving Ukraine found no evidence of improper influence or wrongdoing by the former vice president, bringing to a close a highly politicized inquiry its leaders had hoped would tarnish President Trump’s rival.

The report asserted that Hunter Biden traded off his father’s name to close lucrative business deals around the world, and that his work for Burisma Holdings, a corrupt Ukrainian energy company while the former vice president was directing American policy toward Kyiv gave the appearance of a conflict of interest and alarmed some in the State Department. But the 87-page document released on Wednesday by the Senate Homeland Security Committee contained no evidence that the former vice president improperly manipulated American policy toward Ukraine or committed any other misdeed.

The panel’s Republican chairman, Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, had made little secret of his political ambitions for his report, boasting for weeks that his findings would demonstrate Mr. Biden’s “unfitness for office.” Instead, the result delivered on Wednesday appeared to be little more than a rehashing of unproven allegations against Mr. Biden six weeks before Election Day, allegations that echo a Russian disinformation campaign and have been pushed by Mr. Trump and his allies.

Ron Johnson. The only reason you are not the worst Senator in the Senate is because Turtle Boy and Lady G are there.

Maybe Ron needs to work on lowering Wisconsin’s astonishing covid rate

"Gave the appearance of" conflict of interest?

Whereas the current president owns numerous hotels around the world where government officials and officials of other countries are either outright forced or "encouraged" to stay at.

Appearances only matter if you're a Democrat. If you're a Republican you can do whatever the fuck you want whenever the fuck you want. And if anyone catches you it's the left wing evil cabal pedophile ring media that falsely accused you.

So wait...for weeks now we have heard the findings would be the end of the Biden campaign...and they proved less than Trump's clowns in Hawaii did about Obama being born in Kenya? I guess the October Surprise was "Surprise!! We got nothing..."

Same as Benghazi. They had her under oath for 10+ hours and they couldn't even get her for lying to Congress. Which Republicans can do whenever, however, they want.

Republicans don't lie to Congress. At least in this administration.

To lie to Congress, first you must appear and testify before Congress.

Well they did get a soundbyte out of that at least...this is literally nothing.

"What difference does it make"?

Meanwhile they are indifferent about so much more shit that matters way way more than 4 dead Americans in a dangerous place where it was known if you lived there you could die at any time. Meanwhile America is dangerous for African Americans.

Do they understand this is win or die for them? I mean, for both sides. But for these individuals it’s particularly true. Do they think they’re just going to be able to defy a subpoena with Dems in control?

Either they really are terminally stupid or they know something we don’t.

They know the electorate is stupid enough to vote for them again after a short commercial break.

They have stacked the lower level courts enough, and they feel if they ram this SC nomination through, there won't be any situation with Dems in control.

And if by fluke there is, the courts will rule for them.

She is a woman she probably only got into the military because of diversity!
-Average Republican

Has he figured out that he's gay yet?

I assume he has always understood he is gay. He either suppresses it and is under constant tension because he internalized homophobic beliefs, he engages in that act then regret/torment cycle that so many do, or he has a joyful, full homosexual life on the sly and is a brutal cynic in front of the cameras because it's South Carolina. His behavior on other issues points towards the last option.
