Ah..give Itch a break. He's been reading his Beltway press clippings for years calling him the most influential Senator since Daniel Webster, only to find out he's nothing more than a lapdog slavishly obeying the insane commands of an orange baboon! How would you like to obtain the position of Senate Majority Leader, only to find you have to take orders from Trump's idiot son in law on what legislation to pass. :D

Re: 116th Congress - Episode 3: Impeach the Motherf**er

No, I will not give him a break. And neither will Lizzy.

I hope Mitch gets his foot caught in a very slow wood chipper. That’s the only thing he deserves.

Re: 116th Congress - Episode 3: Impeach the Motherf**er

McConnell ... said during his interview Monday that the Obama administration "did not leave to this administration, any kind of game plan and for something like this," referring to the current coronavirus crisis.

The trouble, of course, is that Obama did do Trump's homework for him. The Democrat and his team wrote the "Playbook for Early Response to High-Consequence Emerging Infectious Disease Threats and Biological Incidents" -- unofficially known as "the pandemic playbook" -- and left it as a guide for Team Trump to follow.

Politico reported in March that the Trump administration was briefed on the playbook's existence in 2017, but it evidently wasn't taken too seriously. The article quoted one former U.S. official who said that under the Trump administration, "it just sat as a document that people worked on that was thrown onto a shelf."

**** you, Turtle Boy.

Maybe if the interviewer had half a brain (or any balls) they would have mentioned that in the interview? The Beltway media is so chicken**** of rocking a boat they never call any of these clowns on their outright lies.

Access journalism is no journalism.

I hear Itch serves very good bourbon at his Beltway cocktail parties. What journalist would risk giving up their invite in order to write the truth? :D

It's worse than that. It's giving the traitors a platform to broadcast their gaslighting of America. It's not nothing - it's a net negative!

Re: 116th Congress - Episode 3: Impeach the Motherf**er

The other problem is the sheer volume of the lies, if it was one or two here or there, that's easy to "since you mentioned that,..."

With Trump and now his surrogates propping him up, I have physically heard or watched a string of lies, myself not sure where to start picking it apart if I could, only to then refresh Twitter and find a dozen different lies debunked by a dozen different people. And none of them collaborating to pick apart the lies.

The sheer volume is overwhelming.

This is why more than anything else. That's one of Trump's strategies and unfortunately it works.

Re: 116th Congress - Episode 3: Impeach the Motherf**er

“ JUST IN: Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said that former President Obama should have held back from criticizing President Trump's handling of the coronavirus, calling the decision "a little bit classless."

"You had your shot, you were there for eight years. I think the tradition that the Bushes set up of not critiquing the president who comes after you, is a good tradition," McConnell said.”

My latest fantasy would be to watch Itch and Dump go full Budd Dwyer when this is all over and they both lose their re-election bids. Shame it won't happen, since neither has a conscience.

Yes, because the Bushes got chased out of town and knew voicing their opinions would be as useful as shouting into the wind at that point, given that no one cared anymore. Obama left with respect and approval by the public, so he has an opinion someone actually gives a **** about.

Never mind the fact that Cheeto has trashed Obama and his administration at every opportunity. I think he's entitled to a lot more pushback and criticism of Cheeto than he has given, which just goes to show you how classy and mature the guy actually is in comparison to the wimpy dotard loser currently occupying 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

You fantasize about watching McConnell and Trump as they shoot themselves in the head with a .357 in front of a television audience?

Re: 116th Congress - Episode 3: Impeach the Motherf**er

Not my fantasy, but I'm good with that.
