Agreed. I still can't believe the late Sen. Wellstone left before he passed away a multi-millionaire.

A long term incumbent senator is as safe a seat as a position on SCOTUS bench.

They can definitely lose when it comes to times like these. When things go to crap incumbents are vulnerable as her looking shoes. (amongst others)

well to be fair, he is an M.D. -- but his ophthalmology residency and lack of recent practice wouldn't make him my first choice in providers if I were seeking treatment for Covid-19 :)

Senate Democrats push for hazard pay for “essential employees”.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) said Tuesday that the fund would provide premium pay to essential workers. In addition to hospital workers, the funds would also go to transit workers, drivers and grocery store clerks.
