I'm a little surprised AOC took that stance, but also not surprised. The twist I thought would keep AOC from backing it was that by making it OTC, that takes away from insurance co-pays covering it.
One of those is it better to be in more hands but more expensive, or less hands and covered by insurance.
Also, I'm genuinely creeped out that the Zodiac Killer is actually being sincere. Did Heidi threaten to withhold blow jobs until Ted pulled his balls out of Trump's mouth?

I'm just not sure birth control belongs OTC. These aren't like aspirin, these are serious drugs that can have extremely serious side effects. I don't think they belong OTC because a doctor should be involved when you're taking them. You need to know whether you're more prone to things like strokes, cancer, etc.

The key here is availability. We need a way to protect women from the predations of the fundy Sex Police. As long as we make birth control completely safe from any interference from slack-jawed yokels and their political panderers then keep it on whatever Schedule it's on.

I agree with this actually. What needs to happen is it needs to be 100% covered by all Health Plans. And, Obama tried that and the fundies lost their **** over it.
