Re: 116th Congress: Episode 1 - Trial by Fire

The double standard being applied to the Clinton's and the Trump's is sickening. It's Banana Republic. It's BS.

Ohio court rules that their districts were unfair and meant to give Republicans advantage, orders re-draw before 2020.

If only that would happen.

Itch doesn't get to call the shots on any criminal proceedings awaiting the Donald after he's out of office. He can only make it clear what will happen in the Senate if impeachment happens (which we already know the R majority will acquit him).

Elizabeth Warren just tried to make the Constitutional separation of powers argument on the Senate Floor in response to Turtle Boy. Democrats are so cute. They continue over and over again to negotiate with Terrorists and lose every time.

Making an argument on the floor of the Senate does not constitute "negotiating." Even though the GOP is beyond both reason and shame it is still worth restating basic civics principles from time to time to remind Americans of who we are when not temporarily burdened by a twisted quisling.

Re: 116th Congress: Episode 1 - Trial by Fire

From the Star Tribune.

FBI Director Chris Wray said Tuesday that he does not consider court-approved FBI surveillance to be "spying" and said he has no evidence the FBI illegally monitored President Donald Trump's campaign during the 2016 election. His comments broke from Attorney General William Barr, who has said that he believed the Trump campaign had been spied on during an investigation into potential collusion with Russia.

Wray did this in the Senate. Senate Appropriations subcommittee hearing. Amazing. I would think Senators would NOT want this information out.

Also, a whole bunch of prosecutors young and old signed a letter or something stating that if Trump were anyone other than President there is no question on Earth that he would be prosecuted for obstruction of justice based on what is written in the Mueller report. See https://www.washingtonpost.com/

And what's most fascinating is I'll bet most people in the country if asked either don't know about either of these things or what they know and believe is exactly the opposite of what is true. Why? Cause that's what Trump told them.

The obvious conclusion to all of this reporting the last couple of days is that the United States Attorney General is a complete piece of ****.

My coworkers were glued to the set yesterday about "this thing with Iran."

Fox and the GOP have a system and it works.
