115th Congress - Still 100% Roy Moore Free

Re: 115th Congress - Still 100% Roy Moore Free

The Dow being at 25,000 is nice, however it's not truly meaningful to anyone but the 1% of the 1%. The "Trump Bump" is mostly speculative and artificial, and now that they got their tax cuts, it's just going to lead to a bigger, nationwide bust when a bear market does eventually hit. It'll be 2008/2009 all over again - privatize profit, and socialize loss.

My guess is that President Hillary would've spent 2017 skating circles around nonsensical Congressional investigations, while battling with Ryan and McConnell to get the ACA tweaked and stabilized, possibly giving up some ground on either tax cuts, or immigration reforms to do it. She'd work with China to deal with North Korea, and likely be a vociferous critic of Putin/Russia's chess game in the former Eastern Bloc. The only thing I think she'd be a bit of a wildcard on is Iran, but I think she knows that we can't just march in and take out that regime like we did Qaddafi's Libya.

EDIT: Oh, and the R's would've been forced to confirm a moderate Hillary pick for SCOTUS, instead of the right-of-Thomas nutjob we got.

The country will get out of the rut when we have a clean sweep Democratic White House, Senate, House and SCOTUS. Until then it's going to be either the clown car of the GOP, or the Dems and the country being sabotaged by whatever branch the GOP has a stranglehold on.

This was all the inevitable result of the GOP becoming a domestic terrorist cell instead of a political party.

We disagree, therefore one of us is a bigot. What have we come to?

Yes, when you want to take away rights of others, refuse to serve them in your business, force kids to attend “conversion camp” and tell them there is something wrong with them.

Why is this so hard for you to understand?

joe, you are a textbook case of a good man who has bigoted beliefs. Didja think all the racist white southerners in the 1950s were cartoon monsters?

The insidiousness of bigotry is that it infects good people who just happened to have parents or pastors or mentors who believed and passed along hateful things. That's the sadness of bigotry. It's a prison for the bigot far more than anyone else, because the world moves on but the bigot is trapped forever.

Would she have gone “moderate”with scj?

Left Syria for Russia like bho the tD did? Have troops there full time (instead of quick hit marines that went in last year then left)?

Regular joe doesn’t have 401k money? Corrections happen all the time. Isn’t it better to have that drop off a higher perch then rise again, then at lower levels? Fade should have investments, but if he doesn’t like increases he can give that $$$ to Mookie :D

Was it “their kids are so cute” or “they are so cute when they are kids”? Always forget the line correctly from Mississippi Burning :(

If you think ^^^, you might be a bigot...

I feel like Jeff Foxworthy could extend his carer with this bit and joe's posts

Thankfully, we country mice are just too ignorant to recognize the hypocrisy here ;)

Should a white person be able to marry a black person, Joe?

Sure. Male marries Female. As long as both parties consented and are above the age of consent, no issues.

However what I believe is of little matter in light of Obergefell. The Court said that anyone can marry anybody. What the new limits are will be closely studied and tested.

You cannot be against gay marriage and be for interracial marriage. Don’t be on the wrong side of history.

We have the fact that you are a homophobic bigot who uses Jesus to try and legitimize your disgust of gays even though Jesus would be disgusted by your hatred.

If you dont like being called a bigot, stop being a bigot. You are a disgrace to God. Hell the fact that you judge others despite God telling you otherwise proves you have zero knowledge or respect for the word anyways.
