Port, the Forum columnist, is far from a sympathetic figure; however, I do believe this will backfire on the Heitkamps (the Senator and her brother). It's not the way politics is done in ND traditionally.

You may be right, but still...boo friggin' hoo.

Re: 115th Congress - Fantastik! Try to remember we vote in November.

Congressman Mike Kelly (R-PA) says it is un-American to talk about racism. So I guess that settles that.

He has reasons, though.

A Congressman and a car dealer. He's just pedophile short of the Creep Hat Trick.

"Kelly then credited President Trump for having united America and purportedly ending racial strife."

Read that as car dealers don’t talk about those things....

Now whether that is true or not??? :)
Though seems car dealers would try to sell to purple aliens if they could move inventory :p

Senate votes 52-47 to save Net Neutrality, where it will promptly die in the House. Nice gesture, though.

It also puts the senators on the record of their support for NN prior to the election. If nothing else, it can be used as pressure for the purple seats.

All but a few Rs you can count on one hand.

So, every Democrat voted for it.

All 49 Democrats voted in favor, as well as Republican Senators Susan Collins, of Maine; John Kennedy, of Louisiana; and Lisa Murkowski, of Alaska.

One wonders how complete stupidity can be so partisan?

Because of the CRA sunset term the final House vote will note be until January 2018 -- i.e., we can just keep on doing this until then and Mitch can't stop us. So the Midterms now become, in addition to, you know, our last chance to save American democracy, also a referendum on NN. If we flip 25 House seats we save NN. That is absolutely doable in this cycle.

It's actually a BFD.

This is so blatantly about the bribery of the cops by the criminals that I'd be interested whether anybody other than a guy getting a check would be willing to make the Republican arguments with a straight face. We do see that happen with guns and oil, but this seems like a bridge too far even for the laughable intellectual "standards" of the modern conservative movement.
