Heikamp and Manchin are yes's though, so Paul doesn't matter. Pompeo will go through 52-47 or so.

I care a lot more about Haspel. Pompeo's just a fool; Haspel is a f-cking war criminal who should be cooling her heels in international court.

As far as I can tell Haspel was following orders. Pompeo is another neocon who will bring another 6 trillion dollar war to our doorstep.

Even setting aside his puppetmaster Putin's orders, NATO has told the DOS (the real people, not the politicals) that if Dump has the Saudi cock crammed so far down his throat that he drops the ball then the US is on its own in splendid isolation and good luck competing in the Chinese century without them.

This dumbsh-t is turning us into Spain circa 1600. True, we'll be better off without the empire, but if we don't unwind it correctly we're looking at centuries of feudalism and poverty.

War is good business, including, unfortunately, the funeral business.

As long as Bolton can play with the red EASY button all day and not the real one, we're safe.

I hope so. He's incentified in several ways:

1. Dump loves the Saudis at least this week because they made big posters of him and let him feel their orb.
2. Bolton is obsessed with Israel and Neocon Fables of the (Regional) Reconstruction.
3. Iran is always good for revenge among the derps.
4. Wag the dog.

They might as well occupy their time with those activities. Heaven knows they have no intention of spending their time working to pass legislation they'll promise you guys this summer.

Why pass legislation that will be vetoed or filibustered in the Senate anyway? I really don't understand what you're getting at. This is what Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell have created.
