Cobbers with almost a full PP to start the 3rd.

More on the goalie non pull. Middlebury yanked Moorfield-Yee after the 3rd Concordia goal. After Klein come in, linesman checks his mask and it sure looks like Klein is missing a chinstrap. Midd had taken its TO to warm Klein up, so he takes his 1 min of shots and then goes off and Moorfield-Yee is back in. And I thought I'd seen it all.

BSU has some speed but not generating much offense.

Did Middlebury phone this one in or did Concordia outplay them? In any case two straight acorns for the west in the Primelink.

The Middlebury vs. Concordia game left me scratching my head. Down 3 Zip Beaney decides to bring in a new goalie. New goalie warms up with a few practice shots. Just before play resumes the new goalie heads to the bench with "an equipment malfunction"..... and is replaced by the old goalie.

By then maybe four minutes have elapsed. Never seen that before, e.g. Middlebury gets to recoup themselves with four or five minutes to get organized but the play by play guy never mentioned that a time out was used. Other than that the broadcast crew did a good job, clear picture and a vast improvement over past Primelink broadcasts.

Of course after the Panther's roar back with three unanswered goals..... Concordia gets the go ahead goal on what was what? A broken play and a puck that ricocheted off someone's skate. Now the game was really goofy....but finally ended in a third period that seemed to be all Middlebury but with out a tying goal--much less a go ahead..

I sure hope Concordia does not expect the Cadets to spot them a three goal in the first 30 minutes before deciding to play. But seriously not to take anything away from their victory--Congratulations to Concordia for being the first Western team to get into the Primelink Final. Good job. Now Go Cadets.

yea we knew this was going to happen,Buff St lost their top golaie from last yr,and they lost their #1 goalie this yr I believe to injury,,could get ugly again..:eek:

They might of lost their top goalie, but what about their offense? Even if the goalie kept them in the game, it doesn't look like they could put one in the net!

I would have hoped the announcers @ Prime Link would have been professional enough to check the proper pronunciations of the player's names with the school's SID's or representatives. They butchered a bunch of them last night.

I muted them and listened to DEV - synch was close enough. It was better to hear George a couple of seconds behind the play than listen to the guys that were on.
