11/26/11 Saturday games! semifinals, finals, and 2nd round games. SCORES!

Re: 11/26/11 Saturday games! semifinals, finals, and 2nd round games. SCORES!

I've always thought it would be really tough for a goaltender to sit and not play for a season or two at a D1 school before transferring down a level and being expected to be "the guy" right off the bat. Goaltenders need to be in game situations to be game sharp.

Basically, Bosch hasn't played since the '08-'09 season. O'Brien had a rough time of it as well in his first season at SNC after getting pulled out of moth balls from St. Cloud State.

On the bright side, it looks like Jacobson may be emerging as SNC's number one guy anyways. It would be sweet if he turned into another solid four year starter for the Green Knights, but it's still a bit early to anoint him that status just yet...
I would think we can now say that Jacobson is the No. 1 guy.
Bosch has had his opportunities and not performed nearly as well as the freshman has. Being pulled from two of his starts has made the decision pretty obvious.
The entire team plays with so much more confidance with Jacobson in goal vs. Bosch.

Adrian was extremely sloppy all the way around, but at the same time, I'm not overly impressed with Eau Claire, either. I suspect Buffalo State will dispatch them handily tomorrow afternoon.

How's that big plate of crow tasting right now? Did you ever stop and think that perhaps everyone in the NCHA knows how to slow other teams down and make the opposition look sloppy? Nice job discrediting the effort of a team that beat you, in your building, for the second year in a row instead of a tipping your cap. I guess if I were winless all-time against a particular conference I'd probably just say we played like "crap" too.
