Hobart’s Ryan Lynch scores at 2:37 of the second period. A beautiful flip into the far upper corner glove side. Not much Richer could do about it.

From the right circle, Mark Benemerito makes it 2-0 Hobart at 5:43 of the second on a quick wrist shot which Richer couldn’t react to in time.

We just got our first penalty in the game 32 minutes into the game. Considering what happened last week, that’s pretty amazing. It’s against Oswego — tripping.

Oswego gets on the scoreboard with 58.6 seconds left in the second. Travis Broughman jammed it in from in close.

First time I'm getting to see the Cadets this year. First impressions:

1) Love the white jerseys. Was not expecting to see them.
2) Defense is smothering and Aubrun squares every shot up.
3) Offense is meh.

That's only based on one period (got home after the first), but like I said, first impressions.

UC-1 LVC-1 after 2 very loose play by UC may wind up costing them tonight. Very undisciplined with 6 minor penalties in two periods, 4 in first 2 in second.

Hobart takes a 3-1 lead at 6:33 of the third on the power play. Jake Gresh fired a slap shot from the left point.

Horrible, horrible giveaway by Oswego right in front of the net. At 11:20, Alex Robitaille scores an easy one alone in the slot. 4-1.

Hobart beats Oswego, 4-1. Oswego has a tough tournament in Utica next week. They have some soul searching to do.

Agreed, although tonight Aubrun gave up more rebounds than he has in the past five games. As far as offense, not sure what is going on, looks like the guys are not use to playing with each other now after a great start together. Really liking the line of Aubin, Thompson and Griffen, also think Thompson doing awesome on the PK. Defense is really the strongest I have seen so early in the season and key to helping Tommy to have his shutouts.

Passing was a huge issue tonight. Although, it did improve in the Third.
Happy you won tonight guys, just continue to fine tune your passes and moving to the puck. Bring on UMB, we'll be watching.

LVC-2 UC-1 in 3 on 3 OT. LVC gets game winner on controversial goal with less tha 5 seconds left. Officials were horrible all evening both ways. But LVC goalie stood on his head stopping 40 some shots and more than half were quality chances.
