10/21-10/22 Michigan Tech at Bemidji State: WCCHA Opening Weekend

Re: 10/21-10/22 Michigan Tech at Bemidji State: WCCHA Opening Weekend

Ultimately the two power play goals doomed Tech.
Or the five power plays given up in the second, or the undisciplined penalties all the way thru.... Shades of last year. Still we never expected to instantly become a top team. I'd like to see a better power play from us though.

Tech looks so much better. faster, better puck handling, forechecking, more focused. penalties did us in.

if the score didn't count we would have won. ;):)

Nice sweep by BSU.

Good luck to Tech the rest of the season.

It was nice to meet and speak to a bunch of Tech fans. Good people. Personally I am looking forward to the rivalry that the "real" WCHA will bring in a couple seasons. Especially since playing Tech will provide some easy points each season. :)

Huskyfan, pleasure meeting you. So.........what did you think of my s&ss? :)

I'm not getting the hating on Bemdji. nice arena. beautiful lake - we saw an eagle with a fish in his talons. walked around downtown, hit the museum, ate wild rice omelets. people very friendly.

I heard the Beaver arena is carbon copy of NMU's Berry?

Flashy says its a carbon copy of Rapid City. yeah its too shallow, like the Berry. at least there are no Northern fans. the band is tiny. and the student section left before the game was over. heresy!!
