no, you have the right year just the wrong span of games, they are talking about the last 8, not the last 12. i know you'd like to include Mack's 11-2 thrashing but that's not included in the last 8. they are indeed 0-6-2 losing 2 of the 6 in OT and the other 4 by a goal as well, hence the reason for the bit about their improvement

Then he shouldn't have said "since their last win Jan 22" as is written, because that was 12 games ago, not 8. Lots of teams have seasons that don't look half bad once you remove the worst couple of losses. As for improvement-- there's only improvement if you INCLUDE those two thrashings and compare the following games to them. A differential of a goal or more per game over a stretch of 8 or more isn't actually as good as it sounds. It's not terrible, to be sure, but the difference between the best team in the league and the #5/#6 teams is about the same-- it's significant.

Had to laugh at Toot flipping out after BC scored to make it 2-0...he was really upset at his team, slamming the boards behind him. Thought we'd be in for a decently officiated game after the first period, but that changed quickly.

Anyone else hear those UMass *******s up in section BB?

Had to laugh at Toot flipping out after BC scored to make it 2-0...he was really upset at his team, slamming the boards behind him. Thought we'd be in for a decently officiated game after the first period, but that changed quickly.

Anyone else hear those UMass *******s up in section BB?

That surprise you with Gravallese reffing? I love how Arnold got a standing ovation when he accidentally collided with him and knocked him down.

I don't usually mind him compared to other refs in this league. It's just the ticky tack stuff that either didn't happen or simply doesn't need to be called that gets me.

There was also something about being allergic to alcohol in regard to the T incident that they were yelling about.

Baby Perriera should be on BU. He is truly the perfect fit for that school. I mean the combination of Jack Parker's incessant whining along with his brother's lack of skill. He would fit right in, surprised Jackie didn't make it a priority to get him there.

Did I mention that UMass fans are horrible? My God... they sat right next to my section tonight and I don't know if they were drunk or have chromosomal defects... or perhaps both. But Jesus what an embarrassment.

Wasn't just that, chief. You'd think fans of an 8th place team would simply focus on supporting THEIR team.

You won't see any BC hockey fan leaving with this team down a goal. And please, while there were only around 3,300 fans, to say the UMass fans were louder is stupid.
