$1.60 gas , lets go buy an SUV

Re: $1.60 gas , lets go buy an SUV

$2.79 here in Richie Rich Rochester, but if I scoot a few miles down the road towards Little Delhi (Troy), I can get it for $2.61.

Harvey profiteering? North Korea panic? Just general terror at having to live another day with that f-ckwit drooling around the White House?

Supply and demand. Demand is fairly constant. Supply is down??

Demand is definitely up, given people are freaking out that stations are supposedly going to run out of gas, despite the manager of a station being covered stating otherwise. So of course those of us using the Philadelphia refinery's product have to suffer.

as mookie typed.. WELL below 65 :)

So here's the thing. I have lived most of my life in humid places where 100 is torture. I've also been in the west in very dry places where 105 is quite pleasant, 110 is starting to push it, and 115 is challenging and you definitely want water with you at all times, and yet it is not at all that gross discomfort of humidity.

I've always wondered, what happens when you get to 120? Or 125? Does your body start doing weird sh-t? Do you just dry out so fast you need to wear those kegs hats only with water in them? Does it hurt?

So, what is the hottest you have ever been out in (not in an AC car) for at least 5 minutes? And what is that like?

Also, when I was in 115 in AZ you could not have paid me to drink -- the thought of alcohol would have been enough to give me get a heroin addict's cold shakes. I completely get why desert people stay away from alcohol -- it's why the Jews stayed away from pre-refrigeration pork. It's a trip to the emergency room before there were emergency rooms.
